Powering our operations sustainably

We signed an agreement with CLP to purchase Renewable Energy Certificates equating to 45.9 gigawatt hours of energy. The agreement spans six years and saves the equivalent of approximately 18,000 tonnes of carbon emissions.

Strengthening climate resilience

We conducted a climate risk scenario analysis to better understand our exposure to the risks of climate change.

This helped us identify the pertinent issues and interdependencies related to our business, assess existing controls, and establish new mitigation plans to respond to climate challenges.

Committing to a low-carbon future

We have made a public commitment to the Science-Based Target Initiative (SBTi), setting carbon reduction targets aligned to the Paris Agreement goals. We will publish our targets and achievements in the coming years.

Financing sustainable actions

Recognising the crucial role that the private sector plays in advancing the development of sustainable finance, we have taken this opportunity to develop a Sustainability Linked Framework to align our financing activities with our overall sustainability strategy.

Making our communities greener

This year, our Green Week theme was “Our Green Terminal”, and our closest sustainability partners were invited to share their stories with our staff and community.

Green Week also featured an exclusive online platform, physical activity booths, live performances, and an exhibition celebrating the 20^th anniversary of MINDSET (the Jardine Matheson mental health charity).
